Scenes from the October 13, 2007 Hessian Session at the Ford-Faesch House in Mt. Hope

During the Revolutionary War, 35 captured Hessian soldiers
were sent to work at the Mt. Hope Furnace.

John Dunado, Program Director (as John Jacob Faesch)
invites youngsters to become "Hessian Prisoners" for the afternoon.

Hessian soldier Leopold Zindle (David Lang) describes life at the mine,
hard work, good food...far better than prison.

Oh No! The Hessian prisoners are making their escape.

Mr. Faesch (John Dunado) has words with Captain Antonin Selin (Will Kmec) concerning the prisoner's escape.
